  1. Open the ink cartridge door.
  2. Push the old ink cartridge inward to unlock it.
  3. Grasp the edge of the old ink cartridge and then pull the cartridge straight out to remove it.
  4. Insert the new ink cartridge into the product.
  5. Close the ink cartridge door.
  6. Place the old ink cartridge in the new ink cartridge box and refer to HP's recycling instructions at http://www.hp.com/recycle.
